As narrated by Sean Connery, John Madden, Christopher Walken, and a cast of ones. (Starring Jason Stephens as the Beaver. And the Turkey. And the Pilgrims, and the Indians, and the Bunnies, and…)
Okay, so maybe it didn’t reeeeeally happen that way. But it could’ve, right?
I’ll try to keep politics out of this blog for the most part, but this classic line from the entertainer of entertainers, Bob Hope, just can’t be ignored.
In honor of her progression to the final four on “Dancing with the Stars” this past week, here is what is probably Marie Osmond’s first televised performance: dancing with a star named Andy Williams. There’s some pretty good barbershopping by her big brothers in this video, too.
Okay, so everyone who has internet access and any degree of interest whatsoever in football has seen it by now. But who can resist watching The Play once again?
In case you’ve been stuck on the International Space Station or in Darkest Peru for the last three weeks, what I’m talking about is an amazing, last-seconds play by the Trinity University Tigers football team back on October 27. Trailing the Millsaps College team 24-22 with only two seconds left in the game, the Tigers stumbled and lateralled their way 60 yards down the field for a game-winning touchdown. Not counting the quarterback pass that started the play, the football was successfully lateralled an incredible 15 times, which as far as anyone can tell is a college football record.
And lucky for us sportsfans, it was all caught on video!
I never would have expected to see this kind of bluegrass talent thrown together on a show like “Late Night with David Letterman.” Bluegrass legend Earl Scruggs just continues to get better with age.
What I didn’t know was that Steve Martin had that kind of talent. He looks perfectly at home standing and playing next to the legendary Scruggs.
If you’re going to have a blog that’s dedicated solely to fun and interesting videos, you have to lead off with a classic. Here is one of my all-time favorite comedy routines, by the masters of comedy: Bud Abbott and Lou Costello.
I hope you enjoy this site as much as I intend to!
